OUR PERFORMANCESIn our first year, the ACC performed with A-PEAL Handbell Chorus from Glenmore Christian Academy for our 1st annual Christmas concert. We also sang throughout the community. We performed for the volunteers of Operation Christmas Child and made appearances at the World Day of Prayer and for worship at Knox Presbyterian Church and First Lutheran Church. A highlight of the year was an African Drumming workshop with specialist Glenda Macleod.
During the 2005-06 season we celebrated the music of the fabulous musical "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". The choir performed for their families, as well as, the children of Richmond Hill Baptist Church & Westside Kings Church.
The 2006-07 season was the most exciting yet as the ACC presented two musicals. Our Christmas show "Super Gift from Heaven" was presented with First Lutheran Church. We went on tour with our Spring musical "Esther-Ordinary Faith".
In the 2007-08 season, the ACC prepared two musicals, one at Christmas ("Miraculous Christmas
Wish Radio Show") and one in the Spring. In April, we were
joined by the junior handbell ringers of Calgary Christian School as we
presented the cantata "Elijah" for the people of Emmanuel Christian
Reformed Church. The singers also enjoyed serving others. We made 150 sandwiches
for the Mustard Seed Ministry. We also performed for the people of Glamorgan
Care Centre and Wentworth Manor.
